Dotter 2 told me a tale yesterday...too funny not to share! It seems as tho Tank their 'shy' boxer/cinderelly manly dog, has been under the weather. She took said pup to vet for $50 and he wanted $300 MORE for tests to accurately diagnose the many problems it MIGHT be... After Dotter 2 was diagnosing dog to vet, ("Could it be that I am running with her every day in the 114 heat???") her little 6 year old daughter piped up and said, "I know why he is sick! It's because my dad SHOT him with his BB gun!!!!"
Then Older daughter(at a mature 9) with mouth agape and eyes all abug....quickly stuttered, "No, he didn't!!!!" Our Dotter 2 said with a slight chuckle, " Well, Dad WANTED to shoot him for chewing up our tramp and other minor details....that is costing us big bucks...." Little Daughter kept at it..."NO I SAW DAD!!! He went into the house and came out with his BB gun and HE SHOT TANK, (THE DOG) IN THE BUTT!!!!!!" The vet, looking suspiciously enamoured commented calmly, "That must've hurt..."
Dotter 2 might be up for dog abuse charges as an accomplice.....knowingly allowing hubby to abuse dog in said fashion (and without a concealed weapon permit, mind you!)
Wait til Dad gets home......HE is in BIG DOODOO (and it ain't Tanks neither!) lol
