The cold and dreary world...after temps reaching 110 on our jeep thermometer??? the day before, we awoke to rain in the middle of the night..."awoke" meaning we were actually asleep???the desert blossomed like a rose!
Namastay...yes it is i...in Lotus blossom pose...me...a snobbish Montana Mountain girl...actually have grown to love the desert!(notice the swanky sauve headgear to hide unwashed hair and whipping whind syndrome)
We (3 couples) headed out for an adventure the end of April. We had tried our luck last year in the Maze but had to abort the mission due to technical difficulties (our tranny went out in our jeep!)
The second time is the charm....
we survived!
The most remote area in the lower 48 states....camping for two sleepless nights and jeeping and hiking with friends...

We are heading to ALASKA tomorrow!!! (I deserve Tahiti after this adventure! 3 weeks in the frigid???)
